All counseling information is kept confidential in accordance with HIPPA regulations. This information will NOT be released to anyone regardless of the relationship without the written permission of the client being given for such an exchange and on file.
The Counseling Process
Counseling may not by itself resolve your problems or concerns. Your progress will be assessed by the counselor on an ongoing basis. If necessary, alternatives will be discussed, including possible referral to others. If you have concerns about a lack of improvement, you are encouraged to address these with me as your counselor. Your sessions with me are your time and I am working for you. Remaining in counseling is ultimately your choice.
Payment and Fees
Payment is expected at the beginning of each hour and is based upon the scale as outlined below. If you need to cancel a session, please provide twenty-four hour notice. If notice is not provided a cancellation fee of half the fee shall be required.
Sessions are typically a full hour.
The standard counseling rate is $60.00 per hour.
a sliding scale fee (which is based upon income) is also available.
If negotiated in advance a 90 minute session is $85.00.
I accept cash in the full amount and do not make change. I also accept valid checks and credit cards/ debit cards.
Please note: I do not accept insurance at this time. However, if you still prefer to see me please call to discuss other payment options.
A complete list of policies, consent and intake forms are emailed when an appointment is made.
